Only A Scumbag……….

Once again we were surprised to find ourselves agreeing with Councillor Kelly. Kelvin MacKenzie is indeed a scumbag. Can anyone seriously thinks of a man who has done more to infest the collective unconsciousness with idiocy and sleaze than that frightful creature. Anyone on the right thinking he might be an arsehole but he’s our arsehole is wide of the mark. You cannot seriously criticize Kelly and support MacKenzie though to be fair MacKenzie is very slightly more articulate than Kelly.

That said we cannot help but notice that Terry and Kelvin have more in common than either of them would like to think.

Mackenzie admits that he has never regarded himself as a good writer and that it takes him a day and a half to finish each column.

Whilst MacKenzie was editor The Sun ran a story which stated that Tony Benn was insane. To support this story they quoted an American psychiatrist;

“with the psychiatrist discussing various aspects of Benn’s supposed pathology. The story was discredited when the psychiatrist in question publicly denounced the article and described the false quotes attributed to him as “absurd”, The Sun having apparently fabricated the entire piece.”

Terry Kelly likewise sees no wrong in calling a political opponent insane. At one point the lovely Rayleen had her fathers opponents assessed by a (very unethical) psychologist who concluded they felt threatened. She has since removed this detail from the original post having been called on it. Cllr. Terry Kelly to this day sees nothing wrong in this. However we wonder if it befits opponents of Kelvin Mackenzie to adopr his worst tactics?

One of the “insane” bloggers had this to say;

‘….. I would be very grateful if you could furnish me with the name, professional telephone number or e-mail address of the psychologist with whom you have discussed my ‘comments’. I merely wish to be able to verify to my own satisfaction that such a discussion has taken place, should the urge take me.

All who place comment into the public domain must be able to substantiate the claims they make, regardless of the medium in which they make them. Failure to do so damages the commentator’s credibility.

In a similar vein blogger Clairwil was accused of belonging in a secure unit for opposing Kelly. Are you noticing a pattern here?

Terry To The Rescue?

We see that The Sunday Herald are carrying a story about Wendy Alexander a woman who Terry isn’t quite sure whether he’s a supporter of or not.

Poor Wendy first she finds out that she’s not deemed worthy of her own agent’s vote and now this. Still with friends like Jackie Baillie who needs Terry?

We cannot wait for Councillor Kelly’s next post. Will he rush to Wendy’s defence, abuse a blogger, have a go at Alex Salmond or Prince Harry? It’s hard to predict.

Sudden Increase In The Population Of Paisley

We are surprised to learn there has been such a dramatic increase in the population of Paisley.

Cllr. Terry Kelly informs us “There are about 200,000 people in Paisley”.

The 2001 census informs us that the population is 74,170

A google search turns up nothing on this remarkable and dramatic increase in the population of Paisley. The notion that Cllr. Kelly doesn’t have a clue how many people live in his town is to silly to be worth considering. We’d therefore be grateful if he would advise us what has attracted all these extra people to Paisley and why it’s being kept so quiet.
