Once again we were surprised to find ourselves agreeing with Councillor Kelly. Kelvin MacKenzie is indeed a scumbag. Can anyone seriously thinks of a man who has done more to infest the collective unconsciousness with idiocy and sleaze than that frightful creature. Anyone on the right thinking he might be an arsehole but he’s our arsehole is wide of the mark. You cannot seriously criticize Kelly and support MacKenzie though to be fair MacKenzie is very slightly more articulate than Kelly.
That said we cannot help but notice that Terry and Kelvin have more in common than either of them would like to think.
Mackenzie admits that he has never regarded himself as a good writer and that it takes him a day and a half to finish each column.
Terry Kelly blogs here.
Whilst MacKenzie was editor The Sun ran a story which stated that Tony Benn was insane. To support this story they quoted an American psychiatrist;
“with the psychiatrist discussing various aspects of Benn’s supposed pathology. The story was discredited when the psychiatrist in question publicly denounced the article and described the false quotes attributed to him as “absurd”, The Sun having apparently fabricated the entire piece.”
Terry Kelly likewise sees no wrong in calling a political opponent insane. At one point the lovely Rayleen had her fathers opponents assessed by a (very unethical) psychologist who concluded they felt threatened. She has since removed this detail from the original post having been called on it. Cllr. Terry Kelly to this day sees nothing wrong in this. However we wonder if it befits opponents of Kelvin Mackenzie to adopr his worst tactics?
One of the “insane” bloggers had this to say;
In a similar vein blogger Clairwil was accused of belonging in a secure unit for opposing Kelly. Are you noticing a pattern here?
Terrys views on Clairwil’s mental health are here and here.
What makes Kelvin Mackenzie’s behaviour reprehensible and Terry Kelly’s acceptable? We look forward to his explanation.
The poor old toad can’t resist taking a pop at the “well heeled toffs” i.e. the Tory Party. He doesn’t realise or has fallen into the trap that the rest of the Labour Party (apart from Bob Marshall-Andrews) have tumbled into – that Davis has done this with the full blessing of the Tory leadership. A political masterstroke that backs Gordon Brown into a no-win situation. Labour can’t put up a candidate in H&H because their own PPC is against the 42 days detention and therefore could not, in all good conscience campaign for it; and if Labour did put up a candidate they would surely lose as Davis will remind people that it is not just 42 days that he is campaigning against but all the other ill-thought legislation regarding ID Cards, DNA databases etc. The LibDems are backing Davis as will their electorate in H&H.
With regards Kelvin MacKenzie, one only has to think of Hillsborough to discover what an odious little turd he is. I would have thought that he and Terry would get on famously.
There’s no doubt about it. Mackenzie is just a right wing more successful Terry Kelly. It’s almost uncanny. Both are abusive liars, both are incapable of rational debate, both hate the Scots and both have been excessively rewarded in life for their meagre talents. Is it possible they could be related we wonder?
